Looks like you were right George. Gauge still reads 1/4 after 454 miles and range at 86 miles. It took nearly 65 litres to fill so not far off empty. I have started to switch to range when it gets to 1/2. I may book it in sometime to get it sorted. Andyfr

I had my engine shut-down on me as the gauge said I was out of fuel, although I had about 1/4 of a tank. It was recovered to Harwoods and initially showed no faults. As they did not want me to have the problem again they had three further attempts to find the fault and traced it to a faulty sender unit. No problems since! mole

Thanks Mole! I think that's got to be the problem with mine. I will get them to check when I take it in. Andyfr
