Do your keys scratch the dash trim?

just wondering if its safe to have keys hanging down when the FL2 key/fob type thingy is inserted? I've got the pixel finish on mine and it looks like it could scratch over time with others keys hanging down and in contact. Sad I know, but I want to keep her in tip top condition Wink

I Have a leatherman Micra, LR Keyring and a door key on mine and have not noticed any marks or clinking of keys against the dash Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Steve same thing crossed my mind when first got my lovely vehicle, so decided to take any extra staff off the fob and use it alone. Safer and easier to keep it in pocket. Just to be on the safe side! Wink

Stevea, I keep my keys separate to the LR2 fob. This is because we need to use both LR2 keyfobs over a period of time to keep them charged up. I'm sure I would forget my keys if I had them only on the main keyfob.
