The Yorkshire dales are superb no question but for epic scenery, for me they play second fiddle to the Scottish Highlands. The roads across Glencoe, Applecross and the Cairngorms offer views and scenery second to none. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Drinking a pint of Yorkshire Ale sat outside pub in the Dales whilst listening to the strains of the Black Dyke Band (from my boyhood village of Queensbury). Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

The only blot on an otherwise unblemished Yorkshire image was Guy Fawkes' failure to carry out his intended mission.
