About 4 months ago, my daughter open my door onto the front wheel arch of the FL2, it caused a very small chip of paint to come off the arch.

So it went it to the Mercedes bodyshop near me (Got the know them really well after they repaired my CLK)and they said they could blow in the paint and laquer the whole wing, so I though it spoils it being there so why not!

What I didn't realise is that they also took out the stone chips on the front of the arch, it just looked perfect when it came back. So after 4 months of it bugging me that one wing had no chips and the other had a few (To be expected after nearly 5 years and 49000 miles) I took it in yesterday to have the other wing done.

So picking it up tomorrow looking perfect! I'll post up a few pics when it is back. So they repainted the wing, out of interest and for the future what sort of cost was it?

I got a quote from a local paint shop to repaint my bonnet for £180 (labour + paint only) - I had a few scratches but nothing serious so i was looking into the future

I got it done for £70 + VAT but it was a mates rate deal. They are only paini t the front of the wing and blending back, then the laquer the whole panel.
