Hi did you manage to sort this problems out? we have just picked up a 2010 FL2 and have just noticed it does the same over speedhumps. Just wondering whether to take it back to the dealer? |

Just booked the car into Guy Salmon for them to have a look at. I would expect it on an older car if the bushes had perished but the car is only 12 months old unless the bushes are faulty. VULCAN XH558 - Cold war warrior lives on ! |

thanks for the reply , not quite sure how to describe it, perhaps a squeak or creak? after i drove the car last night i pushed the rear offside qtr of the car down by hand and it made the same noise. Seems odd thar a car costing £20k plus should have squeaky suspension! VULCAN XH558 - Cold war warrior lives on ! |

Nearly all rubber squeaks disappear in wet weather, get a spray bottle filled with water and douse each bushing one at a time and push offending corner down until it disappears. At least you should end up knowing which one is causing it. |

I've taken my 10 plate FL2 back to the dealers about my suspension squeaking when going over speed bumps, all they did was re-grease the suspension.

Mine 'chirps' over bumps - as someone else said, this is normal as it is the shockers doing their job...

same here, 8 weeks old and makes noises over bumps or on lock, McP mentioned it may have been a steering issue and something about a mushroom in the fluid resevoir?

She's out in her car so can't look - But I'm sure someone said that if you remove the top cap of the power steering reservoir, the fluid should be seen flowing around in the shape of a mushroom. If it's not, it could be that there's a blockage somewhere and this can lead to noise. It's be OK Taz, just a bit of old machining swarf in the system |

Hmmm.... I looked in the top of the resevoir, the fluid is there but not flowing, it is on the max mark and there is a black disc in the resevoir that the fluid seems to sit just below, even when steering is moved from lock to lock it doesn't move, only tried at idle speed though? |
