First saw this report some time ago. I'm hoping that this was a pre-production vehicle and that the result of this failure will have been fed back to the production line.

Don't know where he got that little bit of bad press from. Freelander 2 has never been anywhere near Solihull !! It's all the Scouser's fault |

In reality from a Land Rover point of veiw the car was designed in Gaydon (near Banbury), with additional engineering support from Whitley (Coventry) and is only assembled at Halewood. Although it is based on a Ford/Volvo platform (New Ford galaxy, S & C Max and new Mondeo (not on sale yet) and the Volvo S/C60 & 80) |
