i would ask the question to the warranty company if yours is ware and tare it must be premature because other freelanders are out there with a lot more milliage on and with no ware to the t.r.ends and if you ask the dealer how many has he changed and the answer is not a lot then it must be coverd under the full terms of the warranty for premature ware have a moan who is the warranty with rainy-city

The approved warranty should provide cover up to 100k miles so as far as i am concerned I think it is b x.

The dealer, to a degree on the phone yesterday, was on side but I'll push later. The info i need is the number of track rod ends they've changed on this age of vehicle with this number of miles.

A thing that can affect the wear and tear, or ware and tare even on a steering ball joint is if at anytime its been apart for repairs to anything else on the steering or suspension, it can be easy to damage the ball joint rubber seal when breaking the joint taper and if a split seal is not replaced on reassembly wet and grit gets in and it soon does it in. In that case it wouldnt be failure do to wear and tear more due to the mechanics hamfistedness |
