Does anybody know where I can access a copy of the users manual for the rear scren entertainment system. I bought it from ebay but had someone fit it for me and the manual got lost...Alternatively, could some kind soul tell me if I can play DVDs through the system so my son can watch them in the back but have the sound coming through the main car speakers, or where would I plug in some stand alone portable speakers (he won't were the IR headphones!) I have the same system, which I installed myself.
1. You can play video on the rear screens, and have the audio play on the car hifi providing you have an audio in socket. Mine is located on the centre console behind the hand break. Am not sure if this is standard on all models.. If you have this it accepts 3.5mm male standard stereo plug.
2. The lr rear entertainmenT system does not have audio out so you cannot connect external speakers or wired headphones.
3. The sockets on the screens is for video input only. No audio out.
