Am I the only one p**ed off with this?

Frequently on this board (and elsewhere!) I keep seeing people referring to a 'warrantee'.

This is Censored wrong.

The singular is "warranty". Plural "warranties". A “warrantee” is the person whom a “warranty” is for. Rolling Eyes Brian

In any case I had a garanti with my Freely Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

However, you have been constructing sentences without a verb in them and the punctuation is all wrong! Wink

It should have read:

The singular is "warranty", the plural "wannaties"; a "warrantee" is the person whom a "warranty" is for.

And you might have thought that you were being anal! Laughing
