The simple answer is that the Evoque is smaller than both the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. In size terms it is only marginally longer than a Ford Focus. It also has a 2.0 litre petrol or 2.2 litre diesel engine compared to the larger lumps of metal in its bigger brothers.

Actually your Freelander is 4500 mm overall length while your Focus is 4337 mm overall length an Evoque on the other hand is either 4355 mm overall if its a Pure/Prestige or 4365 if its a Dynamic. Hence my previous comment that an Evoque is only slightly longer than a Ford Focus.

Interesting, although my own Focus is actually 4402mm long (Mk 2 RS), so there's only 4" in it. |

Followed a black Evoke up the lane from Gordano village towards Failand yesterday. Looked very poised but I don't think I'd like the restricted vision around the rear end. |

Had another look at the Evoke today at a LR dealer not local to me. Always interesting to visit a new dealer where nobody knows you and you can have a good rumage!

Spotted an Evoque on Skinner street in Whitby last saturday. Looked to have a lot of road dirt on it so don't think it was a local. |
