A HGV driver delivering to our farm parked his truck up for a few months then found out the hard way he need to spend big money on the adblue system.
Some cars already have adblue, VW group I think, its in a little tank under the boot floor, holding enough to last between services, dealer tops it up at each service.

As with the dpf another case of technology being rushed out before it is fully tested. What will happen when these adblue cars start running up expensive repair bills in a few year time? Once out of the dealer service network.

Ad Blue is perfect for agriculture then, good idea on a combine

I checked about this after RTFM mentioning DPF and before buying new HSE in April 2010 . Definitely no DPF. Sales had to go check, not been asked by a buyer before. 2012 Smart For 2 cabriolet
