Good news today for my parents. They were mis-sold PPI by the Royal Bank of Scotland and after putting a claim in a few months ago direct with RBS, they have caved in and have offered £8.5k plus interest at 8% which will mean the total will be just over £9k!

That will come in handy for Christmas and will more than compensate them for their kind purchase of winter tyres for me!
