United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Stornoway Grey
DAB Amplifier and FAKRA connector

Hi guys,

I have an 07 FL2 which has the DAB aerial situated in the rear left window but is not currently connected to anything.

I am in the process of fitting an aftermarket DAB kit and would like to use the internal aerial.

To do this i need to purchase the FL DAB amplifier coming out to a FAKRA connector from somewhere but for love nor money can i find a part number, supplier or anything for this. I know images have been posted up with exploded diagrams etc but the part numbers have always been missing!!!

Can anyone help?

Many thanks

This cable is Fakra compatible and puts it into a more usable format:

Martin, are you saying that this connects to the amplifier box to add a FAKRA connector? The text seems to talk about sat nav? Freelander 2 SE 2007 in Stornaway Grey.

It is used for the nav screen on D3 and RRS, to input video into it.

However, as they use Fakra connectors for the video input, what I'm saying is that I have available a cable which will fit a Fakra socket on a device to convert it to a more usable connector.

It's not specific for DAB, I don't know exactly what connections you are trying to mate to but just making you aware this cable exists if you need it Smile
