I'm told the fl2 should be more than capable of it, apparently heading south through the village you turn left after the post office and it will take you all the way up to the Corney fell road which looks like your start point.

But you will get a much better view and an easier (downhill) jourmey from the other direction.

Not necessarily, but I'd certainly hope that they'd look for the route that would be least damaging to the green lane that they are planning on using, especially when it's likely to be wet.

thanks to you all for the advice and the photos will be going mid nov evan if its snowed i know what the freelander can do in the snow living on a road partway down a hill i had this part of the road all to my self last year when it snowed as no one would park at the bottom evan the police ventured down the hill and had to call for assistance from a motorway unit with a disco all the kids were taking the mickey out of them it was about 2 hrs before they got free Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter rainy-city

Will have to go for a quick run over there myself, it's prob only 45 mins - an hour away.
Take your camera if you go in Nov and you might get somthing worth posting in our new winter competition!
