United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Sumatra Black

Factory tour 14th October
OK think we’re all sorted the plan is as follows.

11.00am Meet at Speke Hall car park Liverpool L24 1XD, put faces to names (Check who and who hasn't washed their FL 2)

12.00pm Arrive at Halewood LR Experience Centre, lunch should be ready on arrival

1.00pm Start Factory tour The tours take you from the initial process of stamping the panels through to final trim and assembly, all in the company of one of our highly experienced and knowledgeable guides. You will then be taken in one of the latest Land Rover models to our track facility; we will give you a demonstration drive where the vehicles technology, systems and capabilities will astound you.

4.30 – 5.00pm Opportunity to try baked goods(that’s if anyone has brought some along. Mrs Toeknee has prepared a special winter chutney for you all to try (Whatever that is)

I will try and PM you all my mobile number if you need to contact me on Friday

That’s about it, if you’re still keen to talk all things Freelander, Land Rover, Wheel Size, Black is best and all Grey Freelander’s need to be scrapped. Then we could find a local hostelry and have a bit more friendly banter Thumbs Up .

I will take a list of everyone coming along. If you’re going straight to LR Halewood can you drop me a pm and let me know before Thursday evening.

Oh and One last thing, The Chicken Farmer is coming along, so those who have not yet tasted the sacred N Yorkshire scone might be lucky, mind you not sure if there’s any money left at the Chicken Ranch after the recent purchase of the RRS so Mrs CG may not get out to buy supplies.

See you all on Friday

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

Might be worth mentioning the dress code for all those who loathe the small print.

Long sleeve shirts and long pants the order of the day (No shorts, no SS Teeshirts). No open-toed sandals. Socks are optional. no strange hair cuts. no jeep branded merchandise either... Twisted Evil

I suggest clean pair of undies for the return journey after the experience ride.

Camera's and phones with camera's may be left at reception - no spy shots. They seem pretty tight on security etc.

You have been warned. There's always a way forward!

2011 Freelander Td4 GS 150 - Rimini Red - in its place - Better x far x 4!!

DrownedRat is spot on.
One spy shop and you'll be escorted out by security minus the device you took the shot with.

Not much point, you'll either be asked to remove it or cover it up. Watches/rings/buckles are not good for new paintwork. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Pegleg. I don't think theyll like the hidden camera either

Seriously though, I haven't bought it, but I don't see why they be wanting rings and such like covered up, I won't be touching anything as I can see us been allowed that close, group of blokes getting in way of a tech trying to build it, I can't see that myself Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
