Retrofit xenon light problem

Hi
Just fitted xenon lights to my freelander, when engine is not running lights work fine, but when I start it up lights start flickering.
Is there something wrong with lights or isvitbthe car not recognising them
I thought theybwould be plug and play

England

If they are third party lights they may not be compatible with the CAN bus, are they CAN bus safe?
Maybe the ECU needs to be told they are Xenon, I know other on here have had problems with LEDs and flickering.

After a little bit of search, I found this: http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic4194.html

First I turned the head lights on using the keyfob and xenons came ok. Then I turned the ignition on and then checked the high and low beam, both worked on the (bi)xenon and also headlight levelling using the manual control worked fine. When I started the engine and few seconds later xenons started flickering.
