They are very easy to get off.Push a small flat head screw driver into the little gap at the bottom of the plastic part you are talking about,it should come off with a LITTLE bit of force.When was your car built as these changed from from a dark grey to black on the 11my cars.Hope this helps. keep off the grass |

Sorry for the delay in replying, Just got back from a 1500 mile trip to Germany in the FL2, I ordered the part from main dealer and hope to pick it up this Wednesday.
