On Friday morning drove to Dunkeld and had an excellent time at LR Experience, spent rest of day doing some bit and pieces for Saturdays Colin Mcrae Rally.
Saturday started with constant heavy rain, and continued all day, my job was "closing car" as such I followed the last car through all 42 miles of forrest roads. The conditions were really bad, mud, slime, heavy mist and the roads having had 100 rally cars through in front of me.
My SD handled it well with GGS programme on with traction and stability control systems working overtime.
Passed lots of ditched, upside down and broken down cars on the way. Filled w/washers twice in 5 hours.
Monday morning pressure washer on overtime and SE clean wheels fitted.
Off to Isle of Mull next weekend but all on surfaced single track roads. All FL2's (3) Gone

So for the first time in three years the stage didn't get cancelled/ curtailed and I bloody well forgot to go.

I've no excuse, I walk the dog there nearly everyday...

You have more rallying this weekend, IRC (rally scotland) Saturday stages are same as Mcrae and and run twice. All around Aberfeldy, Google rally scotland for details. All FL2's (3) Gone

Sounds excellent, bit of a trek for me but I usually go to the Pirelli at kielder and a few other more local ones, I always want a quick blast round the stage in the fl2 at the end! Will have to invest in a yellow light and a high vis vest!!
