Have 19in contis and they seem to always wear on the edge, thought might have a change this time to hopefully something harder wearing but seems limited choice in 19in, but Yokohama Prada Spec - X are available, might give them a try, any thoughts? Current 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Black 2016 Onwards

I had Yokohamas on a car a few years ago, very good but did wear quickly due, to soft compound.

I ran a set of Street Terrains last year, only got about 15000 miles out of them, so not very good.

On the positive side they did noticeably improve the handling.

I will be reluctant to move away from my Continentals; quiet, stable at speed, grip well and seem to last forever - nearly 10,000 miles in the last 3 months and very little noticeable wear.

How things have changed; when I first rode motorcycles in the early and mid 80's, no one could wait to get rid of their seemingly Teflon coated "Jokahama" tyres for a decent set of European ones.

I still don't think that I could bring myself to consider a set...

I got 65000 on my ATR Yoki's and then sold my car and bought another one. So my experience was not bad and I got them way cheaper.
