is a plastic ....em.....er.....thing, beneath both passenger and driver seats. I'd never noticed it before this weekend when the seats were pushed all the way back, (pause for innuendo from carlfraz ), and for the life of me I can't figure out what it is.

Please can someone tell me what this is??

In answer......what plastic thingy?????i have been under mine to check out he dvd player and check the electric seat cables won't get snagged but never noticed anything....unusual The wife keeps her plastic 'thingy' safe and sound so I know its not that and I'd worry if it was in your car too!!!! Any chance of a photo of the "THINGY"

I hope my gf doesn't find out that I'm showing my "thingy" on the t'internet!

Yep......It's the heater pipes to blow the hot/cold air to the rear seat passengers. ______________________

Thanks folks, I never knew that was fitted to a basic GS model or any model, I don't recall seeing it in the brochure and why doesn't carlfraz have one, don't wan't him to feel left out!

What's also neat is that there is a ton of storage space under the seat as well. I only have a pair of rain gear stored in there now, but I'm sure I can eventually fit a nice little tool kit and other odds & ends in there perfectly!

Hi Joe...I have them but knew what they where, but i was looking for something under the seat as opposed to on the floor sorry

Still, can't stow my hand held Garmin in the topper pad, together with the overspilt coffee. Emily certainly warms up quicker than Freda! still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit
