I was thinking of the MGR tours as soon as I read the post however I only ever had one that was free. I did 4 altogether & whilst they wern't free they were not that dear, can't remember exactly the cost but I think it was around £7 each. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. The tour on the 14th is approx £45.00 for the Factory and an additional £5.00 for lunch Tour and then a demo drive on the Off Road course, this is the basic tour price and there a couple of other options available. Best give them a ring and speak to Danielle, she will be able to help with costs and info |

No promises but we might get to look at the paint shop, when I first spoke to Halewood they were preparing for the Evoque launch and they did mention that they might be a chance to look at the paint shop as they we making some sort of walk through that was linked with the Evoque lauch and it may be kept in place. No doubt we will find out on the 14th |

We were probably on the same tours if they were the ones organised by the 'dark side'. I remember having (free) lunch in the works canteen and all the big wigs were in there and they were very courteous. Would be interesting to see around Halewood used to go past it so often on way in to Liver Building. |

Yes I would like to go to Halewood too. I went on the MG Rover tours from early 2004 (free as I was invited by them) through to the last one on the 18th March 2005 which was the day I collected my then new MG ZR-Express Van. It's only 15 quid at the mini plant, and that goes to charity, wouldn't mind going to landrover though, |
