Something to do with a sensor in the haldex unit I think, but some one will be along shortly with the correct answer as it is a fault that has come up before ______________________

Yes, faulty sensor, could be a new pump kit needed or if you are unlucky new haldex. I was lucky, they started with the sensor but when this didn't work they fitted a new pump kit, fingers crossed no problems since. |

Check Haldex oil level, when low, pressure sensor sends error message. |

Haldex is the electronic centre-coupling that gives Freelander its highly capable 4 wheel drive system.
