Got four of these with a set of alloys on the way.

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

This winter tyre type is not generaly sold in Norway but it is available. The Google translation of the Norwegian blurb is as follows:

Nokian WR G2 is a winter tire developed specifically for a gentle and changing winter conditions in Central Europe. The deck provides sure grip on winter roads where conditions can change quickly - one hour there are a few minus degrees, hours after it is null or a few degrees above zero.
Nokian properties of fluorocarbon related to new technical innovations: The deck has a so-called slush wedge, asymmetrical patterns and polished grooves effectively booms away snøsørpe and water between the tire and road.
Nokian WR G2 has not had his good grip in snøsørpe at the expense of other good winter properties. The tire has good control on snow and dry roads, even at high speeds.

I am sure Mr. Google could of translated this a bit better, but you get the general idea. So maybe this will be a suitable winter tyre for UK use Question However I have no idea of how suitable it is for a 4x4 (SUV - as they are refered to by tyre manufacturers) as these tyre types are reinforced which this one does not seem to be. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.
