As Evoque is built on the same production line as Freelander and by the same team I would hope that it will have the same level of reliability as the Freelander.

While the Evoque isn't for me, I'm hoping it points the way to a more fuel efficient and lower emissions (read "lower tax") FL3.

I think the Evoque is too low and the seating position is not high enough. The car looks great in white but it is expensive.I think I will have a test drive though and then decide whether to order one or not. Stornaway grey SE auto with 18" alloys |

The interior quality undoubtedly compares very well with the Freelander, but how does it compare to a similarly price (actually £40,143, after discount) Disco 4 XS Auto? |

I agree, I saw a black Dynamic 5 door with the shaddow Chrome alloys in a showroom last week & that looked awsome! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. (Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red. (Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding. (Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather. |

I doubt it as Range Rover is the more premium side of LR so the Land Rover models will generally be lesser specced. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. Saw a white one being driven on Jersey yesterday..that's brave with a new car and all those low road hugging stone walls.

Test drove an Evoque last week.It was the Dynamic 5 door 190 bhp auto and it was fantastic.Very quiet and rides beautifuuly even on 19" rims.Quite fast and handles really well.Never had so many people looking at the car as I drove around. The one I would go for is the Pure sd4 4+4 auto at about £31000 but the waiting list of 7-9 months puts me off. Also it is not as high up a driving position as I would have liked and this might be the stumbling block.Dealer reckoned that all the demonstrators will sell for list price after 3 months so no bargains there! Very nice, interested to know what the tyres are, they look like the new Pirelli Ice and Snow? Are they standard?
