Has anyone seen or used one of these? http://www.handistore.com/.

They seem to be ideal for the odd awkward load you can't easily get in the motor so I wondered if they are any good? do they work on a freely? and can they really carry 80kg safely?

My concern would secure the load without it moving!?! And where would you secure?

Scratching the roof damaging the door rubbers

I would look towards a proper rack, those blow up thing were only designed for surf boards iirc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I've spent a fair amount of time loading things on to the roof rack of my cars with varying degrees of optimism and I've seen these in use. I would repeat what npinks said, that these are not designed for anything other than extremely light weight items. I would be very concerned about anything other than light weight surfboards shifting forwards under heavy braking. There is absolutely no way that I would trust them with an 80Kg load in those circumstances.

I'll stick with my Thule's, thanks very much!
