Common sense overruled the heart, its a tdv6 , looked it over again today its in mint condition, low milage

Mrs G isnt convinced it has 6 different ratios in the auto box, we could never sense it changing a gear on the test drive, That said it was a proper test drive the salesman wasn't sat in the back minding us , he just handed us the keys and said see you when you get back Thumbs Up At work

It's a really nice motor and I can follow your logic with it being a low mileage used car. Glad you're hanging around.

The announced 8 ratio TDV8 D4 had me thinking the other day about a move - but her Ladyship said we are not increasing the family head count and so she's keeping her FL2. Hence the facelift upgrade when we come over to Blighty in October.

As for me, I'm changing everything for next year - motorbikes I'm retiring from (actually bar the shouting I've done that this season and the Ducati's and Triumphs are already sold awaiting delivery back to UK.) My beloved British 2 seaters are on the verge of being pre-sold to enthusiasts locally. I'm going to "steady down" (ha ha ha) and have my eye on a purring large cat that has that 8 ratio box. Fun for me, and good for the family: 4 seats.

Have fun CG with the RRS - hope it gives you many miles of trouble free motoring.

I can only believe that the commercial success of Mrs CG's scones has gone to your head - not the vehicle of choice for the most frugal of North Yorkshire farmers??

You will hve to upgrade Finn's boxes now.

You will be back (which is excellent news!) Thumbs Up There's always a way forward!

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red

Glad to see you are staying CG. But you are boosting us city folks view of farmers by moving to a RRS, especially a black one. Are you sure one of your sheds is not full of weed? Does not Brian of Archers fame drive a Rangie? I would have a Disco 4 like a shot but the neighbours would complain I was hogging too much of our precious parking space....... Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....
