Don't know if anyone else has expereinced the same problem, but my rear tyres were wearing on the onside edge, much faster than the inner. I took mine in for a tracking check. the fronts were fine, but the rears were quite a way out. Apparently, this is common with LR's. Hopefully the tyre wear will now even out Definitely worth noting though.

The tyre place stated Goodyear Wranglers are by far the best all rounders for 4x4's, in terms of wear, yet good in light off road and snowy conditions. He stated the Pirelli Scorpions are reasonable, along with the Conti contacts. However, he advised against Michelin Lattitude Tours unless you do over 20k miles per year, as they are a hard compound and soon become brittle over a short period of time. He also said they are rubbish in the snow.

It seems by the piccy he threw up that his rears were out as was landy's, so yes it does seem to be easily misaligned perhaps by a kerb or pothole.
The fronts are threaded adjustment whereas the rears are by turning an ecccentric bush which may not be so robust.

Seems worth having it checked every six months. My dad's got the same wear issue on his car, but rear nearside. Tyres don't come cheap  Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

Had the same issue on the wife's car. Went to a specialist wheel allignment place http://www.fcmwheelalignment.co.uk/

All now sorted and the car drives so much better! Well worth the money!

wobbly sound more like a track rod end or even steering rack problem

steering racks on fl2s can be made of toffee sometimes, get it checked fairly urgently At work

Wheel geometry settings have no effect on wobble through the steering wheel. Look for another cause.
