Beep when selecting reverse gear on automatic

Can anyone help?

The beep that I normally hear when selecting reverse has suddenly stopped working. Does anyone know how that can be repaired. Hope it doesn't mean anything more serious than a broken beeper!!

Thanks all.

The beep you hear is the pdc switching on, do you have a flashing light? Or steady? On the dash? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Ahh, I see.
The light is steady and the PDC seems to be working fine ie beeping when near things at the front and behind!

Strange if your not getting the beep, it's an audible warning to say pdc is working, not sure if it's for anything else Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Still can never trust our sensors when it's raining as they beep, bleep, scream..et al.... I accept it as a Land Rover 'feature' Laughing
