White Letter Tyres

Need to replace my tyres pretty soon, they are 1mm from the wear markers.

size is 235 65 17, and I need it to be an AT tyre.

Best deal I've come across is a cooper discoverer ATR but it has white letters on the sidewall.

would it suit a freelander??? I've seen a picture on here of somebody with it, and for the life of me cant find it. If i really dont like it, can white letters be coloured black?

They are normally only white letters on one side, and you can mount them with the white lettering on the inside of the wheel (so not shown).

general grabbers were my first choice, but they are out of stock in a few shops, and the shops with stock are a lot more pricey, and i've found the coopers at a good price.

Switching the white side to inside sounds like a good idea Smile

Bear in mind that you may come a cropper with AT tyres as the speed rating will be H rather than the usual V rated tyre.

Unless you go for:

Speed rating H is fine, as you will never do 130mph in a freelander 2
