Caspian Beauty

The wait is over.
Picked her up yesterday.
Weather was terrible yesterday - rainy and dark when got home. Bit brighter today so have taken some photies and put them in gallery.

The colour changes greatly with light levels. The phots show how blue it looks in strong light and then almost turquoise green in low light. Goes very well with the light leather interior.

Not had much chance to drive yet but will hopefully get some milage done tomorrow.

Ride is superb Thumbs Up

No point trying to get the rain off. Why did I get a new car in winter Rolling Eyes

Thing I have noticed so far is that the car feels much bigger from the inside than it is.
Finding it hard to judge the front end at moment. Went in a parking space today and edged the front right to the white line. When I got out I was a good 2ft away Laughing

Very impressed with the auto box - smoothest I've ever driven.

No regrets at all about my decision and glad I waited for the new colour.

Have bought replacement indicator bulbs/side indicators to get rid of the orange touches but haven't had time to fit them yet.

Certainly need to get some rubber mats or that carpet will be filthy in no time.

If you are in two minds - don't be Thumbs Up TD4 HSE Auto Caspian Blue

Hi Charlie
Yes you need the rubber mats, I feel on this quality car they should be fitted as standard, might be worth talking to your dealer, I did and they supplied FOC!!! David

love it!

Brilliant colour Charlie, a good choice. As you say the colour seems to vary a lot depending on the light conditions.

I'm certain I would have ordered Caspian Blue had that been an option in May. In fact I called LR headquarters to check if new colours were planned this year, and they assured me that there were no plans for any new colours this year. So much for that advice! Evil or Very Mad

Anyway, you get out there and drive! I managed to clock up nearly 2000 miles in my first month, about twice my normal average Razz Don't forget to keep the revs down for the first 500 miles though! Rolling Eyes

Congratulations charlie. It was most enjoyable to see the photoes (more photoes pleeeaaaase).
Now I know a little bit more what my Caspian Blue will look like when I pick her up later this month.

But I suspect no photo will really reveal what the color look like in reality? Or what, charlie?

You are quite right Viking.
The colour is great. It really does look different every time I go to the car.

Can't post any more pictures for now as I only get to see the car in darkness during the week.
Hope yours arrives soon. TD4 HSE Auto Caspian Blue
