An update..... I had a great time in Scotland. All the travel links worked fine, weather was better than I expected, some gorgeous evening sunsets. Hotels and food and ferries all fine, obviously moved on a lot since Athelstans trip. Even the midges were only a problem on 2 days. Local buses/mini buses are a boon and locals friendly.... Amazing white sand beaches in the Outer Hebrides. I even caught a 6ib salmon, my first on the fly. It went back to continue its journey to the spawning burn from whence it came. Barra beach airstrip is great. Has an extended rear double axle defender fire engine. I will try and post pics to my gallery. I hpe to go back with the Freelie next year..... JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....
