Boot/fuel cap fuse keeps blowing

The Boot/fuel cap fuse keeps blowing - which means that I can't lock the car!!!. I've tried cleaning - then replacing the micro-switch in the tailgate handle as I though that it must be this. However I was wrong. Anyone had a similar problem as I got though 5 fuses yesterday just to get the fuel cap open

Thanks for this. I ended up having to go to Stratstones and pay £100 to get this done as I nearly ran out of fuel again because I couldn't get the filler cap open and had to find somewhere that had 6 more fuses!!! Hopefully all sorted now.
