Ouija board

I have just ordered a Ouija board off ebay. I have read all these scare stories including those by people who used to laugh in the face of spooky stories but who are now convinced these boards can make contact with spirits who aren't the friendliest bunch.

Curiosity has got the better of me but have any of you guys used one and what is the general opinion? Supernatural phenomenon or bulls Censored t? LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I'm not 100% sure but sure I heard/read something recently which said it was nothing to do with spirit communications. That this connection was made via the old black and white movies.

If a remember the board was a victorian game.

Joking aside, be very carefull what you do with one of those boards. your asking for some serious Censored . I know people who have used them and know how to use them and have had some very nasty spirits come through which did not want to leave.
Im the sort of person who only believes in what my own senses tell me. I didnt believe in ghosts until this week. Ive been working in a 900 year old house rewiring it and the last two weeks have been hell.
There has only been me and a builder working there but theres been a lot of funny things happening that has scared the Censored out of me. dont get me wrong, ive worked in a lot of old houses over the years but this has gone above and beyond.
We have been working in the same room when gostly figure floated passed the doorway right in fromt of me, that played with my mind more than you could ever know.
Other things from loud footsteps but no one there, banging doors, things being moved and various other things. Its got to the point now where I have refused to work in there alone.
I dont know for sure what is happenning but what ever it is its just not right and for the first time in my life it scares the hell out of me. If your going to use that board you have been warned, Best of luck mate, your gonna need it.

All my plants have life on them Thumbs Up

We also have a ghost, she has appeared to me and my daughter who was only four at the time, she placed the wash basket on the landing across the stairs, "to stop the little girl getting up" this was a few days after I told the wife I could swear I was seeing a girl on the staircase, my daughter was a twin at birth Sad

I still think a meet up round a stone circle would be interesting Shocked

only yesterday did I walk around my sleeping cat the landing only to find the cat in the middle of the floor in the sitting room.

Plus there are at least two figures we see often passing by.

Not a terribly old house - and not frightening - just lost.

Embarassed my typing on my iPhone is terrible Laughing

I really believe people see things because they imagine it and not actually see it, you both see a shadow and you say what's that and instil the idea of a ghost as a explanation or like for instance the cat on the landing, you often see the cat there so you expected, therefore you 'see' it in your mind Neutral Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Npinks, i used to think like you and laughed it off but now i think differently.
Ive worked in many an old house. I do know the sounds old houses make. Just for the record. When the builder and I witnessed the door close there was not a puff of wind. We were both just a few feet away from it as it was happening. Im sure any non believers who has gone through 2 weeks of this would be of a different opinion
the doors in this house are very heavy oak and steel doors and take fair effort to close them,we are not talking the crap cardboard or softwood doors of today.
