i thought the gs came with footwell lamps and puddle lamps (under door} as std,mine got them i replaced them with cool white leds,vast improvement,  Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. Almond Leather ,rear spoiler,rear mudflaps.my13.

no footwell lamps and puddle ones on the my11 gs and no rear audio mode, kids wont be happy, they will have to listen to my music, my 10 must of had a upgrade thingy,before the my11 was lanched. Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. rear audio was deleted just before MY10... something to do with it going wrong I think?

Still have the wiring for it in my GS MY10 

OK, reading this thread I thought there was a chance I might be able to fit some bulbs and get footwell lights in my TD4 S.

Why would Land Rover go to the bother of fitting a bulb holder but only installing one wire to it and one terminal inside the bulb holder





By the way, inspection of the driver's side footwell (UK), there isn't any wiring or bulb holder - just the plastic shroud stapled to the ventilation duct.

So no footwell lights for me - easily.

Hi all yes I'm still trying to locate the wiring in the drivers side Footwell but as yet no luck and I can still only see a blue wire going into the bulb holder on the passenger side.
i`m hoping that someone on here might be able to help

My 07 GS has only one wire to the passenger side footwell lamp holder and no lamp holder on the drivers side.

In my '11 S (which is basically as a GS in UK) it was a piece of cake. The wiring and holders were in place, so I only had to buy bulbs for 50 cents and fit them. In couple of days I'll check the underdoor puddle lamps.

I've retrofitted a Garmin 1490 GPS into the dashboard cubbyhole, as I wasn't keen to spend 3000 euro on factory one. For now that's all, but probably this year I will manage to get my seats heated and covered in leather.
