I wouldnt worry to much about not having the ipod kit, its expensive for what it is. You can still use your IPOD by connecting it to the socket by the gearstick and control the volume from the steering wheel, the only thing you wont be able to do is change tracks which if you are like me and leave it on shuffle wont effect you anyway.

Yes, sadly the iPod connectivity module has been discontinued. To be fair this was communicated many months ago (I'm guessing around February time). I wouldn't cancel purely due to the module. James |

LR's customer service aside, you'll probably find that the iPod interface is no great loss. You can still connect and play from an iPod or any similar player; all you lose (I gather) is the ability to select the track via the car radio controls. Brian

Even my salesman advised against it saying it was over priced. Your lucky they even told you I ordered leather steering wheel, but then they changed everything and it was only available for the GS as part of the leather pack, so took it upon themselves to add this to my order. I only found out when I asked my salesman to upgrade the alloys and he noticed the car was a lot more expensive than when he worked out the finance. But hey it's all part off the fun off being a land rover customer . I wouldn't have anything else. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Stand your ground!! Most cars have a proper iPod connection these days, it's a little poor that one of the market leaders don't and rely on a phono jack! |

It's annoying when manufacturers/dealers fail to communicate effectively..especially when they have your money!

Or worse still it comes without the things it supposed to have as standard equipment, like no heaters in the seats when it supposed to have them. |
