You could not write a script. Fantastic!

Bear with me here...

I was heading home today and going through a 40 zone and 3 lads in a beefed up saxo overtook and then cut in right in front having to brake as traffic built up. They duly issued full smirk and wave, thinking they were supreme beings.

I however took a shortcut I knew to beat the traffic and ended up 2 cars in front. I did not do anything back but I thought it was funny. The car behind turned off and the saxo men were fuming, desperate to get in front of me so that they had 'won'.

I was planning on going down Moor Lane as the car was dirty anyway (see the first few pics here): http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic9603.html

Anyway, rather than carry on they turned up Moor Lane after me. It starts life as smooth tarmac so they were tailgating and weaving about but it wasn't wide enough to get past. So, I slowed down for the rough terrain starting put it in mud/ruts mode and duly drove down the track.

These idiots kept coming and all I could hear was the bottom of their lowered car smashing into the floor. They stopped at last and tried to reverse but it was slightly muddy and they were struggling with wheels spinning.

I had to stop as I was crying with laughter. The thing is, I hadn't provoked them in anyway. They just decided to follow me. I must admit that once I had driven on a fair bit, I did lean out of the window and wave but who wouldn't! No danger or inconsiderate driving involved just an unbelieveable outcome and a brilliant comeuppance for the saxo yobs Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Israel 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

I once came across a fiat chinqento on the ridgeway in wiltshire. He was proper stuck, god knows why he drove up there, it was proper hard core off road. We towed him out then he had to reverse 2 miles cos he could not get out the ruts! Funny tho!

Good skills dr

I obviously missed that 30+ years ago and cowardly took refuge in the sobriety of justice being the domain of all citizens of the state, not just one segment (e.g. criminals) however maligned or beautified they may wish to be.

What is academia aspiring to be in this new century. By this account unbalanced, inequitable and self serving. Tis a blessing to be retired.

I don't know of anyone at Leeds. I am studying for my law degree part time at Derby. It is tricky fitting it in around my full time job sometimes though.

I bet some of the lecturers will know some of their fellow lecturers at other uni's. The head of law at Derby is a chap called Kevin Bampton. He is awesome and you would not like to take him on in a court battle but you would certainly want him on your side in any dispute Off Topic LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Tonga Green

Superb story Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I was once driving down the A1 and this 'orange thing' slowly passed me its engine screaming and quickly cut in front of me.

With my 'good ladies' permission I moved out and gently moved ahead of it - pulled in and then just gently moved forward away from it.

I wasn't speeding Whistle and it was in my Toyota Celica - but I can't believe these fools do these starnge sort of driving. 2002 Honda VFR800
