i'm sure i asked if XC60 rims fitted a winter of two ago, as my brothers XC60 was going no where in the snow with its low resistance tyres on and i thought he could have used my spare set with some M+S tyres on

Been awhile - just an update. My XC60 wheels (17's not 16's - apologies, I just noticed) and bridgestone Duellers are still going strong on the Freeo. ~7 1/2k km now and love them. No rubbing or any negatives.

Spelchek - let me know how you go out on Fraser - I'm thinking of doing a mid-week trip (2 nights, 3 days) out there one week soon. Its a good time of the year - easy to sleep and not many march flies to annoy you. I'm only half an hour from the barge so a bit of feedback would be great after you get back. By the way, what do the Volvo 17's look like? I downgraded my SD4 to get the 17 inch wheels and Bridgestone Dueler A/T's fitted but I think the Freelander alloys are a bit nuffy (boring). |

yeah, will do jak. The 17's are a plain 6 spoke 'star pattern' rim. How do they look? Well I think they look pretty tuff but opinions will differ i dare say. can't find a Land Rover center cap tho, so have the volvo ones still. I'll endeavour to post some pics soon.
