Bloody car!!

So yesterday the electric window switch has packed up, no problem ordered a new one on ebay.

Tonight, i go to move the car and the interior lights are not working, checked the fuse, which had blown. Replaced with another and bang straight away!!!!

Any ideas?? short somewhere?? the door puddle lights still work and mirror lights. I also disconnected all the interior lights and still went bang!

Check the wiring diagram to see what is on that circuit, could be a relay shorted out.If so remove relay or any switch and recheck, it might be that you will go through a few fuses but cheaper than getting some one out. If when a relay and or switch is replaced and fues goes then theres a fault found.
Have you had any other items fitted and new cables fitted? yYou could of trapped a wire some where.

It seems ok at the mo, not blowing fuses. Had the wiring diagram out too, there is a voltage drop off relay and the dimming relay, which cant be replaced as they are on PCB, which the fuse box is connected too in the foot well. Had it all in pieces tho!
