Did the re-gas make a noticable difference? Sometimes I don't think mine is blowing particularly cold. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

Apparently the air con refridgerent can leak past the compressor seals over time, this is most likely in the colder winter weather when the air con might not be used for a long time, they say its best to switch it on every few days for a few minutes to keep the seals in good condition? |

Best never to switch it off. In the winter it helps to speed up the defrost in conjunction with the heated screen.

You should only need a recharge of refrigerant if you are unlucky enough to experience a gas leak.

Warranty ran out some years ago!! And it's unlikely land rover would do it under warranty unless there's a fault! |

Kwik fit or ATS usually have something on, or local garages |

I had my disco done at Kwik fit, they measure temp before they do any thing then the machine sucks out the oil and the gas then tests for leaks then replaces them both, afterwards they measure temp all done for £45 |
