I was looking at some refurb work a couple of weeks ago for a large retail outlet at their distribution centre. The guy who showed me round openly admitted that 75% of the workforce were Polish - not a problem if we were in Poland but we are not we are in Britain - British jobs for British people. Give these yobs a job and let them steal off the conveyor belt and not the shop window!! |

The British people won't get off their arses and work for low wages - The Poles will. My experience of polish workers is that they are very good, polite and generally honest. If it wasn't for them most of the food grown in the East Anglian Fens would rot in the fields. Given the choice I would keep them and export the home grown trash. |

Exactly why should a British business be forced to employ lazy uninterested 'british' workers. when the poles etc are keen to work hard and do the job properly and efficiently.

The Polish agency workers we employ have a far better attitude for work, as said they are efficient, willing to learn, polite and show initiative which has lead to their advancement and a permanent position. Because of this we have the British moaning that they don't like taking orders from them, Why ? they had the same opportunities within our factory but failed to take it.

I know quite a few people who would recommend Polish window cleaners far more than any British window cleaners they have used. They job they do was always better and never left dirty water running down the sills. 2002 Honda VFR800 2002 Toyota Celica 140 Silver (mid life crisis - again!) 2007 FL2 GS Manual Army Reconnaissance Green + freel2.com sticker 2004 Toyota Celica 140 Black - Gone 2000 Toyota Celica 140 Silver - Gone 1998 Toyota Celica ST Pearl Green - Gone 1996 Nissan Primera 1.6 - Gone 1994 Rover Montego 1.6 Auto - Gone |

Id use the little s like canaries in a coal mine, lower them in the slurry tank and if their dead when hauled out then the slurry gas is dangerous and should be vented At work
