Maybe i'm asking the obvious here.
From reading previous posts, cakes and scones appear to be the norm at a meet.

Please be aware that Mrs Pegleg's baking does for high tea what Hitler did for peace.
If such cream tea items are required then i'd have to bake them myself at the risk of ridicule from you greedy b Censored s

I'd be more concerned about your health, My friends view my baking much as a Germany does to a Spanish cucumber Big Cry

However, if you insist, i'll do my best with whatever ingredients i can find in the .........

Yes Scones are vital on any Freel2 meet but not just any scone but extra special scones, finest flour purchased in Yorkshire and baked in a special kitchen near Boroughbridge. There were rumours recently regarding Cornish Scones but NO samples were offered for verification so thay have failed the stringent authenticity checks. Other supplies of Scones can be submitted for testing though, please use the PM message facility for my address details to which a weekly supply can be sent to for verification testing Thumbs Up

Hi Andy

Yes i hope so, LR Halewood have been in touch today, they have heard of his woe's, so as a one time offer they have decided he can pick up his new FL2 on the 14th Whistle . Mind you he will have to wait till the end of the day, as LR have suggeted we use it round the course without the instructor sitting in. So that makes it 12 adults and one child who will have the chance to push it to its limits.

LR have pulled it of the production line and it will be used for some R & D projects before the 14th, i think they mentioned trying different shades of Black & Grey paint on it to see which would look the best,Oh and as a bonus when we are finished with it, they are going to send it round the corner to get valeted and washed ( very posh hand wash) apparently it will look as if its just come off the production line Shocked

So not long to wait now Taz Thumbs Up

So it will be fresh off the production line, so no chance of it getting damaged on delivery and a Friday one at that Laughing

But I think it's really good of LR to allow it to be collected direct by the end user and we get to check it over on the LR off road course, just to make sure that it is working fine, sort of Quality Control by Freel2.com Laughing
