Five hours to discover that - disgraceful.

Ask them how many hours it took them to find the plug in socket for the diagnostics and how long to find bonnet release handle. Go on - be sarcastic and waste their time and do not pay any account until they can account for every minute of that 5 hours.

If they refuse then ask them to think again and apply common sense to this task or you'll apply via Trading Standard's and/or your solicitor for full recovery of your inconvenience.

They have a teabreak every 2 1/2 hours for 1/2 hour, it was probably sitting on the ramp with engine running for 1/2 hour warming up whilst the diagnostic laptop booted up, thats an hour knocked off for a start and it was probably sitting outside for 2 hours waiting for them to fetch it in, I think you only need about 1 1/2 booked for this one. Confused Be interesting to know how they used up 4 hours looking on this one?
