Evoque launch in Liverpool

A couple of articles on the Evoke launch. They're going to drive it through a disused railway tunnel and then literally launch it in one of the docks:

England

It's 22 support cars that worry me Shocked do they envisage a 44% failure rate Laughing

I also wonder, my car is due on the 16th August, is it being built now? if so, I wonder how many bits will be swapped if there are 4 Evoques to 1 Freelie passing down the line. I will be a bit miffed if there is a 4" gap under the tailgate Laughing

Still looking forward to October to see were it all happens and full marks to LR for such a launch, I hope it makes the workers proud to see it like this in their home city.

That explains the large number of Evoques I've seen driving around this past week then.... All of them with a full compliment of wheels I might add!
