Tyres yet again!!

I need a new set of tyres. I live in a rural area and it's six miles to the nearest A road so very little gritting in the winter.
I rarely go off road, except for the odd dirt tracks which arn't hilly.
I was thinking of Michelin Lattitde Cross, i've got Lattitude Tour at present and they've done 32k but i'm not to happy with them in the wet or winter.

Any views folks? Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Pirelli ATR. I have had mine on the Discovery for nearly 30,000 miles and they still have 6mm. They were awesome this past winter, with temps of -14c and 12" of fresh snow and are equally happy in clag and nonsense. On a Freelander you should see 40.000 miles or more. Current driveway contents:
2021 V60 Cross Country B5
2009 FL2 dog bus and shooting wagon

On Order: 2023 Fisker Ocean Ultra - deposit paid.

I've been running on the latitude cross tyres for the past year in all winter (deep snow and ice here for two months) and off road conditions. They haven't let me down once.

Road noise is quiet, handling is good and wear is so far looking really good.

My ex neighbour who spends a fair amount of time in farmers fields also shod his FL2 with these and thought they were great.

I'd buy these again.

I have had OE Goodyear Wrangler and Continental Contact 4x4, both of these have performed extremely well.
I have never been stuck.
Used as closing car for Colin Mcrae Rally covering 50+ forrest miles in both good and bad conditions, driving timekeeper at other events of same distance, last year did 70 miles of snow covered forrestry roads at an event in Wigtownshire. Drive hundreds of miles on Isle of Mull all single track roads in all weathers.

Land Rover Experience vehicles are always on standard fit original tyres. See what these lads can do!!!!

I have the new general grabber At's, I found goodyears too soft and under steered in the wet. The generals are very good, look cool also diplace water very well. Slot cheaper than other brands too, at around £90 a corner.

New grabber AT's here as well, excellent On and off road, and well priced. Haven't had them in snow yet but should be better than the conti's that I had on which were also good in snow.

Check out the prices here.

I got 4 Pirelli Scorpions 235/55/19 fitted for £550. They come to you and fit them at home. What if there were no hypothetical situations?

Thanks for all your replies.
Think i'll go for Pirelli ATR. Been quoted by event-tyres £646.52 for four fitted, which i think is a good price for these tyres.
Tried my local independent who got close, but not close enough. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

Hi, had two Hankook Dynapro tyres fitted late last year on the front ( 235/65/18 ) for £205 from blackcircles. This included delivery and fitting at a garage of my choice.

Was wary of the brand until I spotted that the original spare was also fitted with a Hankook!! Been excellent so far and did not notice any difference from the original Goodyears ( lasted 35000 miles so the Hankooks have there work cut out to match them!)

They are currently selling them at £238 for two fitted.

NM

Ps they also do servicing and just quoted me £119 for a full service with manufacturers parts Shocked Baltic blue XS - Alpaca Leather - 18" HSE wheels.
