Thanks for posting the videos. Does your friends FR have standard tyres or off road tyres? JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.

Hoping that the original poster won't mind, I will mention that on 18 inches wheels (as seen on the footages) there are very few (if not none) off-road tires that will fit FL2 requested tire's sizes.

Hey Bill, it's good to see a fellow compatriot on here, though I've lived in Australia most of my life. How is the FL2 perceived in TW, are they popular? |

I am not sure if my friend engaged any terrain response. When we were doing the first wade, one discovery was stuck due to unexpected river bed mud (see ). My friend’s FL2 was almost stuck but successfully made it (it’s a pity I missed recording). I was quite impressed by FL2’s wading ability and intelligent 4WD system as a SUV without low range and higher ground clearance. |

Nice to know you. LR owners are a minority here. They are not cheap here after all, even the most price accessible FL2. Most new LR owners here do not drive off-road. They would rather drive it to play golf. |

Where's the winch? On the video it's just a stretchy tow rope. 2002 Honda VFR800 2002 Toyota Celica 140 Silver (mid life crisis - again!) 2007 FL2 GS Manual Army Reconnaissance Green + freel2.com sticker ![]() 2004 Toyota Celica 140 Black - Gone 2000 Toyota Celica 140 Silver - Gone 1998 Toyota Celica ST Pearl Green - Gone 1996 Nissan Primera 1.6 - Gone 1994 Rover Montego 1.6 Auto - Gone |

The man with red pants is operating the winch, the Freely comes out on the winch, it appears at first as though it is driving itself out, but as Alex points out, you can see the winch line. |

you can see it in the pic too, if you look closely. i have always been instructed never attach the winch staight to the vehicle, i thought you use a strop. And i would not stand where he is too! |
