Andrew, the 17" steel spare is standard on the HSE, mine is the same.

The steel is absolutely fine but will have speed limitation stickers all over it, which are obviously there for a reason. Many on here have replaced it with a LR alloy from that well known auction site.

Sorry to spoil the party but you have been ripped off. My 2 month old SD4 HSE came with a 5th matching alloy 235/60/18 as an optional extra it cost £155. As for the other advice I would not drive with a different wheel on. LR don't offer a space saver, which is always a different size, they offer "full size spare or can of foam" so why should you have a limit imposed on you. I would be straight back and get a real wheel - you paid for it. Interested which dealer you used> |

No fl2 comes with a alloy unless the dealer has upgraded it

I stand corrected - missed the 07 bit. But my MY11 was never offered with a steel spare always a full size alloy or foam. |
