Cotefarmboy,

It's incredible to believe, but some people do have lives outside of the t'interweb! Particularly old people with a fresh bag of mint imperials!

Problem i have is the boss where i work

He won't let me take the car off road Sad , still working on him though for future dates

Adrian Flux have given me an insurance quote that included off road (but not stated on documents) which is £60 cheaper, but the excess are £100 more than current. (I have heard good and some very bad reports on them)

My insurers laughed when i asked them if i could add off road cover to the policy, Big Cry

LR Insurance were a waste of time Sad

EDIT: i'm out prior to both event the wife tells me, these family event would mean me turnign up at 4pm when i would be safe/legal to drive Rolling Eyes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Real shame chap real shame!! Big Cry Big Cry You could have come in and just travelled round the tracks honest to anybody else, my FL2 is my PRIDE and joy, as is avturs, and we did not go mad kept it safe damage free as I nor avtur wanted a costly visit to the bodyshop. My side pipes hung low hence they scuffed the underside as they crested the ramp of a large drop. I drove home at 70mphsafe legal car intact...if i thought I was going to wreck the car I would not have gone....check mine and avturs gallery for proof of how taxing it was....just honest fun. Thumbs Up

I agree completly, the photos justify whats been said about how the course is for the non damaging the cars.

I have try this tact, and others, but his attitude is he not spent the best part of £28k on a car for me to go wrecking it on a muddy jaunt.

Going to go on another LRE, and take him along, maybe he'll appreciate what the cars can do and get the bug.

if all else fails i resort to the "BUT DAD Exclamation I REALLY REALLY WANT IT" worked when i was a kid Rolling with laughter Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter could always just come to Tong and watch me an avtur make TW&ts of ourselves. The road system at Tong is really just a gravelly path ....even an X3 or a Honda CRV could cope with it.....just leave the heavier stuff to the FL2's Rolling with laughter
