We call them 'Rotavators' here
Look for one that has a 'Continuous Rating' of at least 2500/3000 watts or 2.5/3kW for your equipment and not a 'Maximum Rating', which is only rated for short duration running.
You won't have to worry about 'spikes' for your equipment, only if later you decide to power any equipment with electronics involved such as a TV for example.
Ensure your output frequency is 50hz if your equipment states it as running a generator at 60hz will make the equipment run hot and at a different speed than designed for.
Any extension leads you use must be fully unwound so as not to create a heating coil and also a cross sectional area of 2.5mm to accommodate the power drawn.
The generator you linked to shows 6500 watts but that may be total power across all outputs, even so I would imagine it is powerfull enough for your 240v application.
