2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Zermatt Silver
Changing tyre sizes

Have standard factory tyres size 215/75/R16 want to change to a better tyre. However having problems finding ones in that size. Was thinking of fitting GRabbers can I change to 225/75/R16 ?

Sorry know sod all about tyres 2007 TD4 S Zermat Silver, maual, panoramic sunroof, rear headrest entertainment system, towbar for trailer.

The extra 5mm width each side of the tyre is hardly going to affect the touching of the coil springs, body etc and the static rolling radius is only 6mm, again a tyre 6mm bigger in height is hardly going to matter other than throw your speedo out by 1mph.
I would say no probs. Thumbs Up

Keep an eye on ebay. Last year I bought 4 original equipment SE wheels 235/65x17 with original Continental Tyres which all had 6-7mm tread for £320. The wheels were 100% unmarked. The owner had fitted 19" HSE to his.
Prior to LR offering a full size alloy spare for £180 when ordering new car I was quoted over £300 for a new GS wheel and tyre. Above was well worth the 100 mile each way journey to collect. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.
