I used Autoglym for years, as did Bentley/RR and Aston.

For dark colours, don't use autoglym SRP. Use ultra deep shine instead, it was developed for darker colours and doesn't leave that chalky finish like SRP

Thought I would give my new DA polisher a go this weekend, so car washed on Friday evening and spent most of yesterday cleaning (detailing) and polishing it
